Enquiry & student fit assessment

Before deciding on tuition, let us first understand what is happening.

If the concerns described throughout our website feel familiar, start by telling us about the student’s situation. We review the information, follow up where needed and explain the proposed next step before any enrolment or payment is confirmed.

Submitting an enquiry begins the review process. It does not confirm enrolment or payment.

You may want to start here if

You can see the concern, but not yet the cause.

You do not need to have the answers before reaching out. Understanding the situation is part of the process.

You know the student is struggling, but you are not entirely sure why.
Lessons make sense, but independent questions remain difficult.
Their results do not reflect the effort being put in.
Foundation gaps appear to be affecting newer topics.
Certain subjects or questions cause confusion, overwhelm or a mental block.
Previous support has not made the next change clear.
Important examinations are approaching and readiness is uncertain.
You want help without enrolling before knowing whether it is suitable.

How the process works

Every step comes before commitment.

The family can review what is being proposed before enrolment is confirmed or payment details are issued.

01SEND AN ENQUIRY

Share what you are seeing

You do not need to diagnose the problem or know what support is required.

02REVIEW & FOLLOW-UP

Clarify the situation

We consider the student’s position, challenges, timeline, goals and expectations, then follow up where more context is needed.

03DISCUSS THE OPTIONS

Explore what may need to change

We discuss the likely priorities, the kind of support that may be relevant and any practical limitations.

04REVIEW BEFORE DECIDING

Confirm only when ready

If a suitable arrangement is identified, its scope, expectations and fees are explained. Enrolment and payment follow only after the family chooses to proceed.

What we want to understand

The same result does not always mean the same problem.

Two students receiving the same grade may require completely different support. Before deciding what may be appropriate, we need to understand what is actually happening.

Before tuition begins

You will see the proposed next step before anything is confirmed.

After reviewing the enquiry and speaking with the family, we explain what support appears relevant, what the arrangement would involve, the expected responsibilities and any important limitations.

Only after the family has reviewed the proposal and chosen to proceed do we confirm enrolment and issue payment details.
Enquiry → review → discussion → proposed support → parent confirmation → payment

What to expect

A clearer decision after the discussion.

Each part of the discussion prepares the family to evaluate the proposed next step.

01

The current position

Summarise the concerns, starting point and available evidence.

02

Likely priorities

Discuss what may be affecting progress and where attention may be needed.

03

A proposed approach

Explain the support arrangement that may be suitable and what it involves.

04

Scope and expectations

Clarify responsibilities, limitations, timeframe and realistic expectations.

05

A decision before payment

Review the arrangement before choosing whether to enrol and proceed with payment.

The decision remains with the family

Review the proposed next step before anything is confirmed.

The enquiry gives us the context needed for a useful discussion. If a suitable way forward is identified, its scope, expectations and fees are explained first. Enrolment and payment follow only after the family chooses to proceed.
